Its always nice to have you’re creative genius confirmed by a established governing body. Just when i was getting used to being stepped on by the man. I sold Networks and Award committees, now its time for my next challenge; Social Freakuency.
In Santa Monica on June 3, The Factual Entertainment Awards were presented at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel as part of realscreen’s second annual Factual Entertainment Forum.
The awards show wasHosted by ROGER LODGE (Blind Date, Talk Soup) and sponsored by History. A wide array of programs were viewed by a roster of judges that included top broadcast, production and distribution executives from the world of unscripted television, out of hundreds of entrants from around the world. Awards were given in the following major categories: Lifestyle (design, food, home); reality (docuformat, docureality, docusoap); competition (game, lifestyle, talent/studio-based); one-offs/specials; non-fiction with recreations and non-fiction without recreations.
